Castlefarm Shop

Castlefarm Shop is an exciting and tasty shopping experience which literally allows you to watch the cows being milked while you shop. Castlefarm Shop is set on a 170 acre organic dairy farm near Athy, Co Kildare (Ireland). The farm and farm shop are owned and run by Peter and Jenny Young. Castlefarm Shop specialises in natural, delicious, homemade and home-grown food, much of which is sourced directly from the farm itself. The shop sells a complete range of food, both conventional and organic. The range includes Castlefarm Cheese, other farmhouse cheeses, fresh meat, Castlefarm organic vegetables and other local vegetables, home baking and preserves. The majority of food is sourced from the farm, locally or in Co Kildare. Castlefarm is a certified organic farm.

Castlefarm have recieved a 2009 Bridgestone Award.
Kildare’s Castlefarm has been awarded a prestigious Bridgestone Food Award for 2009. This award is reserved for the very best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. Jenny and Peter are honoured and delighted to receive the award.
