Castlefarm Shop June newsletter and diary 09
Email jenny@castlefarmshop.ie to receive this newsletter by email

It has been a crazy end to May with us supplying the Late Late Show with lots of veg, eggs, relishes and cheese for Pat’s last show.  Of course there were perks to setting up stall in RTE on the June Bank holiday weekend.  This included watching U2 performing live and meeting lots of interesting people including Pat himself, Imelda May and the Apres Match guys.  Following all this excitement I am delighted to report that our garden is growing really well and with this fast growth rate I have decided to put together a shortened newsletter and to put most of my efforts into the garden and polytunnel (tomatoes and courgettes are flowering and our cucumber plants also look pretty healthy).
Whats more, Peter and i would like to invite you all to a tour of our farm and our picnic in the park! (no charge) next weekend when we can show you exactly what is going on a Castlefarm.

Join us for a free farm tour and picnic in our park (field)
If you are not doing anything in two weeks time (Sunday 14th June) why not join us at midday on a free tour of our farm.  This will give people a chance to explore our farm and meet our animals.  We will even allow you to collect your own eggs!  Afterwards we invite you to our picnic in the park.  We will provide the park field, some bales and some ideas for traditional, fun family games and all you need to do is bring your wellingtons, your picnic and the weather.
