This month we are open 10am-6pm Friday 25th and Saturday 26th Nov. On Saturday customers are welcome to join us for egg collecting at 2.30 and a farm walk at 3pm.
 
Turkey orders nearly filled – so please let me know if you want to order!
I am now taking orders for turkeys for Christmas. These are certified organic, Irish (Kilkenny) and there is a choice of white or bronze. The price is €11.70/kg or €5.20 lb, oven ready and can be collected on 23rd or Christmas Eve. No deposits needed until later on in November but if you would like to order please let me know and i will put you on our list. PS at this stage i only have 1 10lb turkey left and 12lb are selling out quickly.

Root crops, these include carrots, parsnips and celeriac.

Certified organic Aberdeen Angus beef boxes –available
• Meat hung for 21 days to optimise on flavour and tenderness
• €13/kg for a box of mixed cuts (steaks, roasts, stewing beef and mince)
• Extremely good value for great quality product
• Boxes range from 12-16kg
As usual the boxes will include 6-8 steaks, roasts, stewing beef and good quality mince. Cost per kg is €13 and box sizes range from 12 to 16kg. Our beef is hung for 21 days and butchered in Murphy’s Craft Butchers Tullow.
Please let us know if you would like to put your name down on our beef list.
If you would like to order an Angus beef box please let me know. Once i have 10 people interested i can book an animal in to the butchers.

www.wildandslow.com This will give you lots of recipes and instructions as how to forage for wild foods. There is also a Wild and Slow Food Festival in Macreddin, Co Wicklow on 19th and 20th of November which looks fab!
